Food charity, UKHarvest attended our coronation fete to share with our visitors the amazing work that they do.
UkHarvest collects surplus food that would have gone to landfill from supermarkets, restaurants, manufacturers and others. Their fleet of refrigerated vans distribute the food to community food hubs and others who need it. They have served over 8 million meals to communities and rescued over 2,250 tonnes of food.
They regularly attend events, such as ours, as well as farmers markets and community hubs. Over 20,500 people have attended their education programmes which include free online cook-alongs, cookery courses and tips.
