Salary: £29,790.00 p.a. (FTE) pro-rated to £12,882.16 p.a. for working 16 hours per week, term time only.

If you are looking for a position that offers flexibility, variety and the opportunity to learn new skills, then this could be the role for you. We are seeking interested applicants, preferably with previous experience for the role of Clerk to the Board of Governors, Directors/Trustees.
Overall responsibilities include:
- To provide procedural, regulatory, and governance advice to the School Governing Board.
- To develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including the Principal and the Chair of Governors.
- To organise and attend governing board/committee meetings and to produce clear and accurate minutes.
- To support stakeholders with a range of administrative tasks.
Farney Close is a mixed independent special school for residential and day pupils, aged 9 -18, who are in receipt of an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP) primarily due to having social, emotional and mental health needs. We provide exceptional education and care for children with a range of special educational needs.
Our mission is to ensure every child reaches their full potential, both academically and personally, through tailored support and innovative teaching methods.
As a registered charity, we also work tirelessly to advocate for the rights and inclusion of children with special needs, providing resources and support to families and communities.
