Deputy Catering Manager
Full time, permanent contract, term time.
Hours: 37hrs per week, Mon-Thur 8.00am-4.30pm, Fri 8.30am-1.30pm
Salary: Between £24,354.00 p.a. and £26,195.00 p.a. depending on demonstrable skills and experience.

Farney Close is a mixed independent residential special school for children aged 9 -18 who are in receipt of an (EHCP) because they experience a range of special needs including social, emotional and mental health needs. Specific Learning Difficulties such as Autistic Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, Dyslexia or a range of cognitive and processing needs.
Situated on the A272 and the A23 intersection at Bolney, West Sussex, the school has an established and very successful reputation, achieving numerous outstanding and good Ofsted inspection judgements for educational and care provisions over the last decade.
The successful candidate will be a strong team player, hold relevant and up to date Catering Qualifications and have experience of working in an environment similar to ours.
Responsible to the Catering Manager you will be part of a small Catering Team providing quality food to the young people and staff in our school. In the absence of the Catering Manager you will be required to take on their duties and confidently lead the team.
Knowledge and experience of working with pupils with SEMH, ASC, SpLD, MLD and Trauma and Attachment are desirable.
