Maintenance Technician

40 Hours per week, 8am to 4.30pm, Mon- Fri (half hour unpaid break)

Salary: Up to £30,110.00 pa (25 days holiday + public holidays) + £3K Additional Allowance

Free on-site parking.

The main purpose of the job is to carry out all general day to day maintenance within the school. With support from within the team the Maintenance Technician will implement work schedules, carrying out work themselves where they can. The Maintenance Technician will deliver a high level of service, comfort and safety for all staff and young people at the school. Along with the Maintenance Team it will be the Maintenance Technician’s joint responsibility to ensure that all equipment and facilities are fully functioning, and that supply maintenance reports and updates will be provided to the Estate Manager on a regular basis. With up to date electrician qualifications the Maintenance Technician will be expected to carry out electrical work required in and around the school. They will also be required to sign-off electrical work as per relevant electrical legislation.
