TPS 2-6 (depending on demonstrable skills and experience)

You will have responsibility for the teaching and learning of pupils in Key Stage 2, ensuring that all young people make at least good progress through exciting, engaging and challenging teaching.

This post is for a SEN Teacher responsible for the teaching of students with Social, Emotional and Mental health needs (SEMH), Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Speech, Language and Communication Needs and other complex needs, within the school’s Primary Unit. All pupils that attend Farney Close School have an Education Health and Care Plan.

You will lead a classroom and be committed to providing a safe and inclusive learning environment where everyone (pupils and staff), are valued and encouraged to reach their full potential and aspirations. The work of the school is both varied and challenging and we form the cornerstone of many pupils’ lives through a person-centred approach that focuses on Education, Care and Therapy.
